On Monday, 9th March 2026, The Visiola Foundation celebrated International Women’s Day with students from the junior and senior public secondary schools we work with across Abuja.
In line with the 2026 International Women’s Day theme, “Give to Gain,” the celebration highlighted the importance of investing in girls’ education, mentorship, and opportunities in STEM. The theme reflects the idea that when we give knowledge, support, and opportunities to girls, we all gain a stronger, more innovative future.
During the event, the girls showcased projects they developed through our After-School STEM Clubs for Girls, demonstrating creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills gained throughout the program.
The celebration also marked the successful conclusion of this cycle of our After-School STEM Clubs for Girls, and we are incredibly proud of the dedication and hard work shown by all the participants.
At The Visiola Foundation, we remain committed to empowering girls with the skills, confidence, and opportunities they need to thrive and become future leaders in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
